Mark
Lowell is our executive director. Mark is a graduate of the University
of New Hampshire's School of Health and Human Services. Mark's field of
study was Health Management and Policy. He completed his administrative
internship at the Barron Center in Portland, Maine and completed his Administrator-In-Training
(AIT) with the Hillhaven Corporation of Tacoma, Washington. Mark has 20-plus
years of long-term care administrative experience and is the Vice President
of Senior Living Services for St. Andrews Hospital and Healthcare Center.
In 2005, Mark received a gubernatorial appointment to the State of Maine
Nursing Home Administrators Licensing Board, where he provides oversight
of AIT programs throughout Maine. Mark graduated from the University of
Maine in 1981.
Deborah
Siegel, RN, is the Health and Wellness Coordinator for St. Andrews
Village. Debbie has worked in the health care field since 1983 beginning
as a CNA. Debbie became an RN in 1998 and has had experience in Long Term
Care, Skilled Nursing Care, Home Health, Hospice, and Assisted Living.
Debbie also manages the Heart to Heart Personal Care Program and is a Certified
PSS instructor.
Amy
Ronan is our Dining Services Manager. She lives in Boothbay
Harbor with her 3 children and husband of 20 years. She has worked in the
culinary field for over 28 years. Upon graduating from Culinary Arts School
in Portland, Maine, her career has blossomed from training as a sous chef
on Monhegan Island, managing a deli in the Portland area, to residing in
Boothbay's seaside village where other chef/restaurant managing opportunities
evolved. Amy left the hustle of the restaurant business10 years ago to
take on a slightly different career path in health care. She has been the
Dining Services manager at St. Andrews Village for 5 years, where she recently
has been certified by the Dietary Managers Association earning the titles
of CDM (certified dietary manager) and CFPP (certified food protection
professional). Amy continues to progress her passion for food service by
ensuring that all residents and their guests have a wonderful dining experience
here at St. Andrews Village.
Pat
Forestell is our Marketing Director. Pat has a long history of
working in health care in Maine and spent many years in communications
and community relations. Pat has a Bachelor of Science degree in
Business and Marketing from Southern New Hampshire University.
Millie
Jones-Farnhum, RN, BSN, is the Director of Nursing for St. Andrews
Village Gregory Wing/Safe Havens. She received her Bachelors of Science
degree from the University of Southern Maine in Portland, Maine, and has
been a registered nurse for 19 years. She has experience as an acute care
and emergency department nurse, a diabetic educator, and CNA instructor.
She has been with St. Andrews Healthcare for 18 years. Active in the Boothbay
Harbor community, Millie has served as a Girl Scout leader for over 10
years.
